The Back Alley is an NFT Project that was started by 5 people (Down to 4 currently) who came together after finding they had similar interests in music, art, and cryptocurrency. After a few weeks of chatting about these interests through a group message on twitter, the Back Alley came to be.
We originally created the Back Alley as a meeting place for all kinds of people ranging from "Never crypto'd before", all the way to "The GOATS of this Sh*t". As we progressed, we noticed we were building a community that genuinely wanted to grow with us, so we started putting together some ideas and were eventually able to come up with an idea for what the Back Alley could be.
Just like with every other project out there, we struggled with getting started. We didn't know what the people liked, or how to go about producing NFTs in bulk, but we knew we wanted something for these people who were supporting us. Since our original common interest included music, we focused on that. We came up with what were called "Day 1 tickets". Holders of the Day 1 tickets received music from members of the Back Alley. Unfortunately we as a team of 4 ended this because the artist who came up with the idea left the Back Alley without warning.
I guess you could say the Back Alley is a space where people come to catch a vibe now a days. I know that sounds super cliché, but its true. Most of the time, the Back Alley Developers can be seen chilling and chatting with community members face to face in the "Spaceship" in the Back Alley discord. Can't really tell you what we speak about because it ranges from day to day. Some days its Defi, some days its music.

You got Art needs…Mr. J has got the tools to meet those needs. You’ve probably seen / heard his work around the NFT space before. He draws, makes beats, collects sneakers and soo much more.

Lonely
You see some suspicious activity or need some info on anything ranging from staking Tezos to reading an Etherscan, then Lonely’s the guy to hit up. You need information… he gets it.

Why chill with us?
First off, Idc if you chill with us or not. I'm not trying to shill you the Back Alley. This is basically an open invite to a chill community. We're open to learning and hearing unique perspectives on literally ANYTHING in the Back alley.
We're just getting started in this whole Web3 space, and let me tell you, it's wild out here. Seems like every other day there's a new mega company popping up, or a new Shitcoin being hyped up for no good reason. Personally, I try to steer clear of new projects and coins 'cause there's like a 90% chance that thing's gonna crash and burn. Here in the Back Alley, our goal is to establish ourselves as a solid name in the NFT space.
One thing we're proud of is how our community has grown organically. We're not trying to be the biggest or most famous project out there. We're just creating a space where everyone can feel comfortable and talk to us about anything. When you become a part of the Back Alley, you're joining our family.
We don't exclude anyone who doesn't own Back Alley assets - we just know our supporters a little better 'cause we wanna show love to those who show us love. For example, if you've got a Back Alley Day 1 ticket, you get all the drops that come with our music. You might be wondering why we don't just put the music on a platform for everyone to hear. It's simple: when you buy art or music from the Back Alley, you own it. You can use it however you want - even make it the logo for your animal shelter or your YouTube channel. We love seeing our projects used in other ways!
